My next destination... China!

In
my last post I spoke about the hard decision of choose the country
where I want to be on my next school year. In fact I was hesitated
between Canada and China and I have definitely chosen China!

Since I know this, I'm fan of China, it's a very interesting country because
of its history and monuments, older than our, and because of there
different food and way of life. Actually China is equal to Olympics
Game and equal to Tibet's problem but even if there are humans right
problems it stay a very good destination.(this post is not about
China's problems)

I have started to make some link with people
who are there or went there and I could understood that many occidental
people go and like this destination. Many people are OK to speak about
China and help you about anything! If you are or you want to go to
Tianjin, I know a very good website to know the city and make connection
with people, it's Tianjin Expats.

I have heard that China people
doesn't speak English except rich pupil and that speak Mandarin could
be a very good thing. So I'm searching how to have some notions in this
language. I think I will take some particular courses on Paris if I got
the time.

I will live in Tianjin, a "little" city about 6 millions residents next to Beijing by 100km. It's an important city because of the Hai He mouth
near the Bohai sea that's why there is a very big port. It's an industrial city which is very pollute, OMC organisation advice 20 mg/m3 of carbon monoxide and there is 250 mg/m3 at Tianjin...

However it's a very attractive city which have a very strong economical
evolution and a strategical position in China that's why there are so
many things to do. Moreover there are so many occidental people because
of his past.It could be a could thing if you want to meet new people to go out
of Chinese culture for a moment and keep in touch with us to travel in
other countries.

Foreign like...China?

Currently I'm searching my way...

As I have said on my French blog I will go to Toulouse on the 28th February. I can profit of the sun, mountain, sea and exams... However I don't know yet where I will go on the next year. I don't want to stay on Paris because I don't like the school and people are very strange! Moreover I want to travel to foreign country to discover other type of life, other landscape, other language because my School, SUPINFO offer me this oppotunity.

I have so many choice :
SUPINFO Belgique

SUPINFO Canada
SUPINFO China à Beijing
SUPINFO China à Tianjin
SUPINFO China Shandong
SUPINFO China Jiangsu
SUPINFO Emirates Abu Dhabi or Dubaï
SUPINFO España Madrid,
SUPINFO Italie Rome or Milan,
SUPINFO Maroc Casablanca,
SUPINFO UK Londres,
SUPINFO USA San Francisco

And I hesitate between China and Canada because some of my friend want to go there.

My first choice is about China, but why China?Firstly the cost of the life is very low, the money can be a real problem, for example you can have an apartment of 200m² for 300 euros, amazing!Secondly, so many friends go there, and I think I could be interesting to join friend even if discover new people is great to! Firstly China is a very different kind of life. It's not a occidental life, people think different, eat different, has other culture It could be a very good experience for me.

Why Canada? Because everyone say that Canada is a extraordinary country, that people are very funny, landscape are very beautifully and that there is so much to do. However the life is expensive, and it's a occidental type of life.

I think that see other things than what we see everyday can change our mind, change our vision about many things and make us evolute.I have no work, a girlfriend true but it's recent, and I'm still a student who is 19 years old, I have no obligation expect school. I think that I have to profit about this situation and leave France.

And you, what do you do I you were in my situation?

I have visited the Bastille Opera

Today, at 17 pm I have a free visit of the Opera Bastille. Even if it's a modern architecture, there is a magical atmosphere in this place. We went in the underground of the opera, where they are stocked decor. Indeed, as a singer can't sing everyday his show because of his voice, the opera have to change of show everyday that's why they keep decorations. Decorations can be switch thanks to a systeme of rail and elevator. There is the same surface at the level 0 and in the underground, and the twice communicate with the elevator.

It's the bigest Opera of the world because of the surface of stockage. Unpaid ingineer of admiralty came to help to the conception of the elevator. It's a tradition in the construction of opera and that's why the opera use admiralty words. When we go in the underground we don't say "3 ème niveau" mais "3 ème dessous" like in the boats.

The Opera Bastille have a surface about 160 000 m² for a cost about 425 millions of euro! After this visit I want to attend to an opera show even if I think that's the music it's not my kind...
